Mechanical Analysis
Our engineers have compiled an extensive technical library, and have over 40 years of corporate experience applying Duocel® foams to structural and energy absorption applications. Whether you wish to use Duocel foams as a core material in a composite structure, as a blast or shock absorbing material, or even to simulate the structure of trabecular bone, ERG’s engineers have seen it before, and are happy to put their experience to work for you.
Thermodynamic and Fluid Flow Analysis
Duocel foams have broad applicability to high performance heat transfer and fluid flow applications. For this reason, we have a dedicated PhD Thermodynamicist from MIT who has developed precise computer models to predict and optimize the performance of Duocel foams in these applications. These simulations typically predict performance to within 4% of eventual prototype test results.
